A plush-furred, lavender F2 pomsky, Poppy is super fast at running around the yard or securing the best seat on the couch. She is a great travelling companion and has hiked all over the Northeast and US/Canadian Rockies. Poppy is the daughter of Caoimhe and Dixon. Average weight: 30 lbs
Kiki is our shyest girl, often hiding in the woods or her crate when people come to visit. She is a super rare wooly Silver Wolf Sable F2x pomsky and probably the most wolf-looking of our pack. Strangely, all her pups have inherited her sweet disposition but not her timidity as they have all been very social. Kiki joined our pack via Curve Hill Pomskies in KY. Average weight: 26 lbs
Chutney is our FOMO dog and needs to investigate new arrivals, delivery trucks and all animals tracking through the forest behind our house. Most of our pomskies have been pretty quiet, Chutney is the exception to the rule as she always lets us know about guests to ensure that we don't miss out either. She is the daughter of Cocoa and Remi (from LJ Kennels). Chutney is a wooly, tri-color F2 pomsky born on Thanksgiving and normally weighs 16 lbs
Cadi is the spark plug of our pack, using her puppy powers to get everyone playing in the yard or the house. As a tiny thing (8 lbs. soaking wet), her strength to weight ratio is amazing so she practices Parkour all over the house -- jumping over and on any canine/furniture/human obstacle in her path. She is also a snuggle bug wherever she can squeeze in against your hip. She is an F3x black and white wooly pomsky and the daughter of Chutney and Conan (from Ontario Pomsky Puppies)
After a ton of study and learning way too much about canine genetics, we set out to breed beautiful family pets. While crossing dogs as different as Huskies and Poms provides no guarantees, we've selected special characteristics to improve the likelihood of breeding the perfect pomsky. These include:
We take this so seriously that we'll provide the full gene assay with each dog sold
We live on nearly a dozen acres in the woods of NH; we have more bears and moose in our yard than travelling salesman. We fenced in about an acre of lawn, woods and shrub to help ensure that our dogs live close to nature while also being great house pets. It's awesome to watch them learn to hunt (Siberians can stare up a tree for hours), dig (did you know that Huskies will carve out an underground den in Siberia), experience their first snow fall and figure out pack hierarchy with each new member of the family
Good genes are critical, time outdoors is essential, but we are breeding the perfect family pet. We spoil our dogs with love. They live with us, sleep on our beds, travel with us and even join us for ice cream at the local fish fry place.
We handle our dogs all the time and a number of our pups over the years have even been recommended as therapy dogs.
Nature or Nurture? For us it's both! We are doing everything within our control to breed the most ideal version of Man's and Woman's Best Friend
